A large crowd gathered in the center of Banja Luka for an open training session organized by the Hektor Fight Night organization and the leading regional MMA promotion, FNC.
The most attention was drawn to Marko Bojković, who will headline the main event on FNC 18 against Brazilian Ribeiro next Saturday, July 13, at SD Borik.
- “Thank you all for coming. I had a great desire to fight in Banja Luka. I take long breaks between matches, but now I will fight twice in less than a month. Expect a spectacle, expect my knockout,” said Bojković.
The people of Banja Luka were introduced to the Sičaja brothers, Tomislav Spahović, and other fighters who will compete at Hektor Fight Night 5, led by local star Srđan Šućur.
“This is a great thing for our sport. Borik will surely be full, and you know I always prepare something special,” said Šućur.
Organizers Predrag Stanković and Dražen Forgač emphasized that this is an important day for martial arts.
- “If we had such partners in every city, our job would be much easier. I am grateful to Peđa and the mayor for their support and cooperation,” said Forgač, who noted that he received many calls from fans to bring FNC to the city on the Vrbas.
Stanković announced even bigger things to come.
- “This year, we gave Banja Luka two great spectacles. We joined forces and embarked on big projects. You can always expect the best from us. Forgi and I have known each other for a long time, we have extensive experience in the sport, and we know how to work. Next year, expect a martial arts festival, which again means we will raise the bar to a higher level,” said Stanković.
