After the scandalous video by Ramo Isak, where he walked hand in hand with Naser Orić, a new provocation directed by Zukan Helez has emerged. In the video, Helez shows a drone with the message that it is “the best penicillin for separation.”

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that there is no more unserious minister in Europe than Helez and that he is a bigger dreamer. Dodik questioned whether the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina belong to Serbs and Croats as well, or only to Bosniaks. He reminded Helez that no decision can be made without the consent of Serbs. Dodik expects Helez’s patrons, who often talk about multiethnicity, to speak up.

The President of the National Assembly, Nenad Stevandić, reminded that the Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Zukan Helez, is a person who has been convicted of perjury and said that everything he says is false. He called on Western embassies and those who send threatening letters to the National Assembly to respond to such warmongering messages.

Previously, Zukan Helez boasted about the capabilities of the defense industry in BiH, from howitzers to drones. Now, he has posted a video on social media showing him overseeing a drone flight. Along with the video, he wrote, “the best penicillin for separation,” adding that it is homemade and that Bosnia and Herzegovina is eternal.

“How can one trust a man convicted of perjury?” asks the President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska. He reminded everyone who believes Helez that the National Assembly has never discussed nor is there any document on separation, but rather a document responding to the pressures Republika Srpska is exposed to. Everything the parliament of Republika Srpska does, Stevandić reminded, is within the framework of the Dayton Agreement.

  • “But as you can see, neither Helez’s warmongering nor Ramo Isak’s videos about some armies and paramilitary formations are addressed by those who write to us when we give political speeches or discuss the political situation in Republika Srpska,” Stevandić said.

As soon as the session of the National Assembly was scheduled to discuss the Declaration adopted at the All-Serb Assembly, some foreign ambassadors, together with Bosniak politicians, began competing in daily criticisms about the alleged creation of a “Serb world.” Even Christian Schmidt had objections to the peaceful and democratic parliamentary debate. He even threatened that he was ready to act according to his unconfirmed mandate.

“This is my public call for the embassies that otherwise comment on Republika Srpska and every statement we make to address this or publicly declare that they support the warmongering rhetoric of Isak and Helez,” Stevandić said.

This is an opportunity and a test for the harshest critics of the government of Republika Srpska to publicly declare whether the legal and democratic struggle of Srpska to preserve its institutions is more dangerous than the warmongering statements of Zukan Helez and Ramo Isak. Or is their goal to economically weaken Republika Srpska through sanctions, following the recipe of the US ambassador, who sends his missionaries to banks every day.

  • “These days, every morning at half-past eight, they come for coffee at the bank and ask who Republika Srpska should receive money from to survive. They received the answer that they do not know. June has passed, nothing has happened, we have met our obligations,” said Prime Minister Radovan Višković during an address at the National Assembly.

The US Embassy continues to threaten institutions and banks with sanctions. Thus, one foreigner, in the figure and actions of Michael Murphy, has placed himself above the law and the constitution of the country where he is counting his last days. Does this exist anywhere in the democratic world?
