Since the beginning of the summer tourist season on June 27, Јahorina has welcomed over 7,500 guests, according to the Olympic Center “Јahorina.”
The guests have enjoyed approximately 12,000 passes on the summer attractions, with the artificially produced snow being a special highlight, as noted in the announcement.
The Olympic Center emphasizes that with 26 attractions, Јahorina transforms into a green retreat during the summer months, offering an unforgettable experience for every visitor.
At the start of the season, Јahorina also hosted handball and basketball camps with around 800 children participating.
- Our goal is clear – we want to create a mountain that is accessible to everyone and where children can grow and develop. We always emphasize that we have utilized only 10 percent of Јahorina’s potential, yet we are already recognized as a destination that offers a lot – the statement reads.
Every day from 10 AM to 8 PM, visitors can enjoy a panoramic gondola ride on “Poljice” and the longest alpine coaster in Southeast Europe. Adrenaline activities like butterfly, taver, lupster, nauticjet, skydive, and zipline are available from 10 AM to 6 PM.
To explore the natural beauty of the mountain, a tourist train named “Srećko” is available, and guests can explore the nature on horseback from 11 AM to 6 PM along mountain peaks.
For adventure enthusiasts, there is the only off-road karting in the region, X-racer, trampoline, and Olympic tubing at the mountain top. Two children’s parks “Poljice” and “Rajska,” a beach at 1,879 meters above sea level, pedal boats, kayaks, and water walking balls, bike park, cycling trails, football and basketball courts, as well as walking paths are also available.
The Olympic Center “Јahorina” invites everyone to come, explore, and see why Јahorina is a true summer oasis full of adventure.
