The summer tourist season has officially opened on Jahorina. Visitors can look forward to numerous summer activities and attractions, with domestic tourists receiving a 50% discount. The Olympic Center Jahorina is urging the Ministry of Transport and Communications to quickly open the Osmice-Bistrica road section to avoid congestion on the way to the mountain.
This new summer season promises many new attractions on Jahorina. Visitors are particularly drawn to the adrenaline park and the alpine coaster ride from the top of the mountain to the Poljice gondola.
The Olympic Center believes this summer season will be the most successful yet, thanks to the numerous activities prepared for visitors to experience Jahorina in a new way.
“All citizens of BiH receive a 50% discount on all activities, available every day. I invite them to try all the attractions and enjoy their Jahorina. We also have six days when all activities will be completely free, just like today for the citizens of East Sarajevo,” emphasized Dejan Ljevnaić, director of the OC Jahorina.
Denis Šulić, Minister of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska, highlighted that each year there are more activities on Jahorina.
“There’s an increasing number of summer activities here, thanks to the Olympic Center. Additionally, the growing number of festivals and gastro events indicates that Jahorina is enhancing its summer capacity. I am confident that more and more tourists from the country, region, and world will come to Jahorina,” said Šulić.
The Olympic Center appeals to the Ministry of Transport and Communications to provide the necessary approval for the Osmice-Bistrica road section, which was completed two years ago but still lacks technical verification.
“I appeal once more; we don’t want to encounter problems or open the road without technical verification, but we’ve been waiting for two years. Mr. Čubrilović, sign it in the next few days, or we will open the road,” said Nedeljko Elek, president of the OC Jahorina Supervisory Board.
In the coming days, the “FEYS 2024” festival will be held on Jahorina, presenting the summer offer of Jahorina for families and individuals who enjoy active vacations in nature.
