American sanctions against certain companies in Republika Srpska harm the employees of those companies the most, who are not at fault for anything, emphasized the Prime Minister of Srpska, Radovan Višković.
“In these companies, young, educated, and skilled people predominantly work, mainly from the media and IT sectors, who are now unable to address existential issues, such as obtaining housing loans. These sanctions put these people and their families in a difficult position. If the goal of the US is to relocate residents from BiH to more appealing European destinations, then they should tell us,” Višković said in Doboj.
Višković added that it is essential not to bury our heads in the sand and pretend nothing is happening, as American sanctions cause significant harm to companies and employees.
“I cannot interfere with US decisions, but this is not a good decision for BiH,” Višković concluded.
