Do Serbs, Bosniaks, and Croats have the right to pursue their own interests in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or is only the interest of the United States important, with all three peoples expected to serve that interest, asked the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.

“Peaceful separation is a threat to US interests,” said the US ambassador to BiH, Michael Murphy, yesterday, added Dodik.

Dodik questioned whether Serbs, Bosniaks, and Croats have the right to decide for themselves.

“Whatever agreement we come to, that’s how it will be for us. Or are we to be guinea pigs in someone’s experiment? Isn’t all your wealth enough, and you want to take our small share too?” Dodik wrote on the social network “X”.

He stated that the greatest misconception of Bosniak politicians is that America wants to achieve Bosniak interests.

“Our people say, ‘Another’s hand doesn’t scratch your itch.’ Austria didn’t annex Bosnia to develop it but to take everything it could from here. As it was then, so it is today, only the protagonist is different,” he emphasized.

He added that America is only interested in its own interests, caring about Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats as much as about last year’s snow.

“Just as they didn’t care about Iraqis, Syrians, Libyans, Egyptians, Afghans, in whose countries they caused chaos solely for their own interests. America has never given to anyone, only taken. I don’t know why Bosniak politicians naively believe they are special and will be given something,” Dodik stressed.

He stated that if anyone had illusions, Murphy dispelled them yesterday.

“Bosniaks, just like Serbs and Croats, can achieve their interests only through mutual agreement,” Dodik noted.
