Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Staša Košarac, stated that the interventionism of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) and the US Embassy are the main destabilizing factors in Bosnia and Herzegovina, making it impossible to move towards a more functional and European BiH.
“The axis of Christian Schmidt and Michael Murphy has poisoned internal political relations and brought BiH to a serious phase of disintegration,” Košarac emphasized.
He claims that this duo is behind the politically motivated process against the legitimately and legally elected President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who constitutionally implemented his duties as prescribed by the Constitution.
Košarac believes that the only correct and possible solution is for the farce before the unconstitutional Court of BiH to end with an acquittal and for the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH to drop the politically motivated case. Any other solution, he warns, would lead BiH into serious problems with unpredictable consequences of various natures.
He stressed that representatives of Republika Srpska have always warned that the interventionism of the international community, primarily through the actions of the OHR and the illegitimate High Representative, harms the internal situation in BiH and distances it from dialogue and internal agreements among domestic political actors.
- “Under the direction of Schmidt and Murphy, the Bosniak political structure has abandoned all agreements we reached on the European path. If they truly mean well for BiH, the solution lies in closing the OHR and the departure of the illegitimate Schmidt, and in reaching an agreement between the two entities and the three constituent peoples in accordance with the letter of Dayton,” Košarac concluded.
