President of the Government of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, met today in Banja Luka with Péter Holics, Deputy State Secretary for European Affairs and International Relations in the Hungarian Ministry of Energy, and representatives of the Hungarian company Mecsekérc.

During the meeting, both parties expressed mutual interest in enhancing cooperation in the fields of energy and mining, with a particular focus on wind energy projects and other renewable energy sources.

Prime Minister Radovan Višković and Deputy State Secretary Péter Holics highlighted that significant progress has been made in the cooperation between Republika Srpska and Hungary in recent times. They noted that all conditions are in place for further strengthening of this cooperation, according to a statement from the Public Relations Bureau of the Government of Republika Srpska.

They emphasized the need to further strengthen the good political and friendly relations between Republika Srpska and Hungary through partnership cooperation on joint concrete projects.

Representatives of Mecsekérc, a company wholly owned by the Government of Hungary, highlighted that the company has successfully implemented many projects in the fields of energy, mining, and environmental protection in Hungary and abroad.
