Miodrag Đina Maljković is one of the doyens of Yugoslav pop, rock, and jazz music.

From a young age, he found his place in the music world. After finishing high school, he went abroad to continue his education and met and played with renowned jazz musicians of the time, such as Volker Kriegel, Gunter Lenz, and others.

Upon returning to Belgrade, he became a drummer in the RTB revue orchestra and the RTS Big Band. He participated in the first Yugoslav guitar festival held at the Belgrade Fair in 1965, attended by an astonishing 10,000 young people from across Yugoslavia. Since 2004, he has been the general promoter of one of the world’s largest music companies, “Zildjian & Co.” Currently, he performs at festivals with his quartet and remains active as a member of the Jovan Maljković Balkan Salsa Band.
