Milorad Kojić, an MP from SNSD in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated that outbursts of Serbphobia occur continuously in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), with the latest incident being the writing of offensive graffiti in Livno.

“There are only 200 Serb returnees living in Livno, and this definitely induces a sense of fear,” Kojić told Srna.

He emphasized the need for measures to punish individuals who spread Serbphobia, as this is undoubtedly the only way to prevent future behavior and the spread of inter-ethnic hatred, specifically hatred towards the Serbian people in this case.

“It is necessary to prosecute such individuals because their punishment can certainly curb Serbophobia,” Kojić believes.

He stressed the importance of identifying perpetrators who spread national, racial, ethnic, and religious hatred and ensuring they are sanctioned, thereby ending Serbphobia as a prevalent behavior.

“This is the only way to build coexistence. Introducing and spreading national intolerance in Bosnia and Herzegovina is certainly not the path to reconciliation and coexistence,” Kojić concluded.

Offensive graffiti saying “Kill a Serb” and the Nazi symbol swastika were written on a children’s playground in the center of Livno.
