The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, stated that today’s joint session of the governments of Srpska and Serbia is historic.

“I am confident that from today we are writing a new history for the Serbian people. Everything we do, we do to protect Serbs and our path, not to cause harm to anyone. Be assured that all of you here today are becoming part of history. For the first time, the Serb people, openly and without wishing harm to anyone, want to shape their own future,” said Višković during the government session.

He added that everything done today will be documented.

“We will adopt a joint decision on the construction of a memorial center in Donja Gradina and Belgrade, where we will build monuments for everyone to visit and pay respects to our victims in those camps. Those were the only camps in the world for children. Everything we do, we do to protect ourselves and our path, and not to cause harm to anyone else. Nothing that should concern them,” Višković emphasized.

Višković thanked Serbia, President Aleksandar Vučić, and the support team for all Serbs who do not live in the motherland but outside its borders.

“We are not doing anything that should concern them, but only protecting our national interest,” Višković reiterated.
