The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) presented a voucher worth 500,000 euros to the Football Association of Republika Srpska for the construction of artificial turf fields at a ceremony held at the “Vujadin Boškov” Sports Center in Novi Sad, as part of the All-Serb Assembly.

Additionally, cooperation agreements were signed between Vojvodina and Borac from Banja Luka, Radnik from Bijeljina, and Sloga from Doboj.

FSS Vice President Branislav Nedimović emphasized that the cooperation between the two associations is a significant achievement for Serbian football.

“It is a pleasure for me that in the most beautiful football center in Serbia, we can be the hosts of Vojvodina. In Mr. Zbiljić’s office, I saw a picture of the championship Vojvodina team at Borac’s stadium, which proves that this friendship has lasted for a long time. This is a great thing for us and football, a serious cooperation between the two associations, especially in the past two years,” said Nedimović.

Dejan Lukić, General Secretary of the Football Association of Republika Srpska, thanked the Football Association of Serbia.

“This is significant for the Football Association of Srpska as part of the project for nine fields. We struggle with infrastructure, and when we complete this project, we will have 15 fields with artificial turf. This help is very significant and a big step forward for us,” said Lukić.

Vojvodina President Dragoljub Zbiljić expressed pride in the cooperation with clubs from Republika Srpska.

“On behalf of Vojvodina, I want to thank the Association for allowing us to host the meeting of the two associations. We have decades-long cooperation with Borac, focusing mainly on youth categories to see how we can help each other. It will also mean a lot for fans to support each other, and we are glad to formalize this cooperation,” said Zbiljić.

According to Stojan Malbašić, President of the Assembly of the Borac Football Club, the focus of the clubs is on working in the youth academy.

“I would like to thank FK Vojvodina for organizing this signing of a long-term cooperation. It did not start yesterday; it has been ongoing for many years, involving both fan support and club operations regarding players and youth categories, in both the past and the future,” said Malbašić.
