The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, stated that the bridge over the Sava River at Rača is indeed an impressive construction.
“This is what we have been negotiating for all these years. I am more than proud of this project. In a way, it represents our lifelong, historical desire to connect Banja Luka and Belgrade by highway,” Višković said after the meeting of officials from Serbia and Republika Srpska at Rača.
Višković added that Serbia has shown great understanding by fully financing this bridge and constructing an integrated border crossing on Serbian territory, which will also be funded by Serbia.
“We will connect Bijeljina with a fast road to the rapid road from Šabac towards Loznica,” Višković added.
