He added that it is very important for Republika Srpska to raise foreign trade relations with all countries worldwide.
- In this regard, Russia is certainly very interesting, as a rapidly growing market, it is very significant for Srpska, Krajišnik added.
He emphasized that the sanctions against Russia cannot last forever and that the West has now realized how these sanctions affect the economy.
- We have not imposed sanctions on Russia, our exchange in the first four months is very small, and the coverage of imports and exports is very low. The Russian market is large, but that size should be an opportunity for us, not an obstacle. Regardless of the global and economic relations Russia has with the world, it can also be an opportunity. An agreement that would place Serb products on Russian shelves is very significant; it is a very good opportunity, Krajišnik stated.
He added that Republika Srpska depends greatly on global trends.
