Modriča hosted the first tournament of the “3-on-3 Junior Football” event, which will take place this year in at least five cities across Republika Srpska. A total of 30 teams competed in this new dynamic format of the game.

The competition was held in the city center, on an attractive court built to professional 3-on-3 football standards.

The event drew significant attention and brought excitement and fun to both participants and numerous visitors. Besides football, the main attraction was the Sony PlayStation corner, where the youngest attendees could entertain themselves.

In the primary school category, the team “Gandra” won first place, with Viktor Tripić named the best player of the tournament. In the high school category, the team “Evolution” took first place, and their player Amar Husejnović was declared the best player. Finalists in both categories earned the right to participate in the grand finale scheduled for the end of June in Banja Luka.

The “3-on-3 Junior Football” project aims to promote an active lifestyle among young people, allowing them to showcase their competitive skills and football talents while socializing with peers in a positive and stimulating environment.

The project is implemented under the general sponsorship of the President of Republika Srpska, with partners including Autoputevi Republike Srpske and Ekosen, a company specializing in the production of modern infrared heating panels. The partner for the Sony PlayStation corner is the eAdriatic League, headquartered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which gathers esports players from many countries.

Primary and high school students are invited to register their teams for upcoming tournaments via direct messages on the organizers’ social media. After East Sarajevo, the tournament will move to Trebinje.
