Ognjen Tadić, an advisor to the President of Republika Srpska, reminded, while discussing the idea of Sretenje being the Day of Republika Srpska, that this holiday is the day when all Serbs rose against the Turks.
He emphasized that the Bosniaks agreed that January 9th is the day when Republika Srpska was founded.
“The idea of Sretenje came up. Bosniaks say that abolishing January 9th would be a betrayal of Republika Srpska! They agree that it is the day of its founding! They let pass through their legs the thesis that Sretenje is the day of the uprising of all Serbs against the Turks,” Tadić wrote on the social network X.
“And then they say that politics in BiH is boring?!” Tadić added.
