The UN General Assembly resolution on Srebrenica could exacerbate existing differences and increase the region’s conflict potential, Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters.

Ushakov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik will discuss the current situation in BiH and the UN General Assembly resolution on Srebrenica at their meeting on June 6th.

  • Generally speaking, this resolution can only strengthen and worsen existing differences in the region and, overall, increase the conflict potential of the region, Ushakov told reporters ahead of the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, as reported by RIA Novosti.
