Representatives of the city of Trebinje and the Agrarian Fund discussed the development of rural tourism in Republika Srpska at a congress held at Fruška Gora. A special focus was placed on promoting these destinations and products to attract more tourists, with Herzegovinian House cited as an example.
The Agrarian Fund explained that Herzegovinian House was again taken as an example of best practices through which international success in rural tourism was achieved, serving as an inspiration and model for further development.
At the Vojvodina Congress on Rural Tourism over the past two days, Bojan Vučurević, Head of the Department for Tourism, Environmental Protection, and Entrepreneurship of the City of Trebinje, and Veselin Dutina, Director of the Agrarian Fund, participated as lecturers and guests.
During a panel on the development of rural tourism in Republika Srpska, Marko Radić, Head of the Promotion and Marketing Department of the Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska, also spoke.
This participation was an opportunity for attendees to learn about key aspects of rural tourism, discover ways to improve business in this field, and utilize their own potential to promote this segment of tourism.
The participation of Trebinje representatives at this and similar events is yet another confirmation of the good work of the local administration and the importance that Trebinje as a destination has in terms of positioning within regional frameworks, according to the Agrarian Fund.
The congress was organized by the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina and the Center for Rural Development of Vojvodina, with support from the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism.
