The Constitutional Court of BiH is deliberately engaged in degrading the Constitution and legal acts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, creating the impression that it is a banana republic where commands come from outside and the peoples have no say, assessed Nenad Stevandić, President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.

Stevandić stated that the Constitutional Court of BiH has literally violated the constitutions of both BiH and Republika Srpska, emphasizing that property is not mentioned in the BiH Constitution to be considered for such deliberation.

“It is clear here that they are dealing with what someone has ordered them to do, rather than interpreting the law and acts in BiH. If those who are supposed to interpret acts and protect the Constitution have decided to violate it, then I don’t know who or what could reproach Republika Srpska for having its response to legal violence,” said Stevandić.

He stressed that the response to legal violence is always peaceful and always involves Republika Srpska protecting its property, which is clearly registered and defined as the property of the entity, as well as the Brčko District, where, as he says, the Constitutional Court of BiH does not dispute anything in the district, but disputes in Srpska, even though it is co-owned by both Srpska and the Federation.

“This means the Constitutional Court is not entangled here but is deliberately engaged in degrading the Constitution and legal acts in BiH, creating the impression that it is a banana republic where commands come from outside and the peoples have no say because the acts have long been destroyed by that court,” Stevandić emphasized.

The Constitutional Court of BiH claims that regulating the issue of property “is under the exclusive jurisdiction of BiH.”

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated that the sessions of the Constitutional Court of BiH show “the complete collapse of BiH.” He previously announced that by the end of June, an analysis of the collapse of the Dayton Agreement will be prepared, along with a proposed agreement for a peaceful separation.
