The handball team Sloga advanced to the final of the Republika Srpska Cup after a thrilling semifinal victory over Leotar, winning 39:38 after a penalty shootout (35:35, 16:18). The opponent they will face in tomorrow’s final will be determined after the second semifinal between ORK Kozara and Borac m:tel, which is scheduled to take place today at 18:30.

Sloga was leading 14:10 in the 21st minute, showcasing a much stronger performance at that point. However, they experienced a sudden drop in form, encountering some unlucky moments, which their opponent capitalized on. Five minutes later, Leotar from Trebinje turned the game around with a 7-0 series, leading 17:14, thanks to a spirited performance by Marko Parežanin, who scored seven goals in this period. Sloga managed to recover slightly, but Leotar still held an 18:16 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Leotar maintained control until three minutes before the end of the match. They had a 33:28 lead, but in the 51st minute, Parežanin was excluded from the game. The players from Doboj were more successful in the shootout, ultimately celebrating a 39:38 victory, with Đenadija scoring eight goals. On the other side, Marko Parežanin was the standout player for Leotar, scoring 15 goals. Trebinje players Šukić and Ratković missed their penalty shots, while Todorović missed for Sloga.
