The issue of separation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is not a matter for the US ambassador or the US Embassy, stated the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, responding to Michael Murphy’s statement that the “separation” of Republika Srpska does not mean the end of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but the end of Republika Srpska.

Dodik believes that Murphy is merely trying to support Sarajevo Muslims who have fallen into depression.

“To understand this, I must say one thing. In the press center of the US Embassy in Sarajevo, 100% of the local staff are Muslims. This is neither the position of the embassy nor the position of the US, nor is it related to this story about Washington. This confusion is caused by individuals like Murphy,” Dodik said at the “Krushedol Bells” event near the Krushedol Monastery on Fruška Gora.
