With one round left in the sitting volleyball championship, OKI Banja Luka secured the title of champions of Republika Srpska with a decisive 3-0 victory away in Doboj.

Banja Luka has one more match to play in the championship, but they have already secured an insurmountable seven-point lead over the second-placed team, IOK Borac, who were defeated by third-placed Semberija in Bijeljina.

“This season, we haven’t experienced a single loss. As the championship progressed, we became better and better, and we deservedly defended our title,” said Mirko Relić, a regular first-team player for Banja Luka.

“OKI Banja Luka is both the new and the reigning champion, and it is fully deserved. We worked hard, and the effort paid off. I congratulate the boys on their well-deserved title. We have one more match left, against the strong team Kneževo. Although the match has no impact on the standings, we will try to play with full commitment and maintain our perfect record this year,” said head coach Draško Mađar.
