The United Nations General Assembly adopted the resolution on Srebrenica, despite more votes against and abstentions.
The draft resolution was adopted with 84 votes “for,” 19 “against,” and 68 “abstentions.”
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić questioned before the vote why the resolution on Srebrenica is being brought forward now and why it was worked on in secret.
He pointed out that the adoption of the resolution will open Pandora’s box and that the world will face a series of genocide accusations, which will not bring reconciliation to the region.
