Young tennis player from Gradiška, Tea Kovačević, continues to achieve impressive results.
A few days ago, she won a new ITF trophy in Skopje.
At just under 14 years old, Tea has competed in two ITF tournaments and won both, playing 11 singles matches and winning all 11. An impressive record. With this tournament, Tea will be the highest-ranked player from Bosnia and Herzegovina on the ITF World Junior ranking list starting Monday, according to ATV.
In the final match, Tea faced some challenges only in the first set against the well-prepared and talented Greek player, Lidia Panagiotidou, who had no chances in the second set. The final ended with a score of 7:5, 6:0.
To reach the final, she triumphed against Ana Stojanovski (North Macedonia) 6:0, 6:0, Lisanne Bung (Netherlands) 6:0, 6:1, Aleksija Nešković (Switzerland) 6:2, 6:2, and Aleksandra Rangelova 6:4, 6:2.
