Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nebojša Radmanović, stated that, given the current political and security circumstances in Europe and the world, it is of great importance that there is a unified stance among all Balkan states regarding the European path and a shared future.
In his address to participants at the 18th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, held in Braga, Portugal, Radmanović emphasized the significance of continuing and accelerating the process of European integration for the Western Balkan countries.
He underscored that full EU membership would create the prerequisites for lasting stability, security, and further enhancement of regional cooperation in the Western Balkans under the broader European community.
According to Radmanović, Bosnia and Herzegovina is determined and persistent on its path to the EU, as evidenced by the results achieved over the past two years.
He expressed hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina would receive stronger support from relevant political actors within the EU to become a full-fledged member as soon as possible, as stated by the parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In conclusion, Radmanović highlighted the importance of establishing peace worldwide and expressed sincere hope that all armed conflicts would de-escalate soon, returning to dialogue as the only proper way to resolve mutual disagreements.
