An exhibition of 44 photographs by the “Novska Planina” Mountaineering Association was opened this evening at the gallery in Novi Grad.

The gallery’s documentarian, Mirjana Drljača, stated that the displayed photographs were taken by members of the “Novska Planina” Mountaineering Association.

  • “The exhibition is very interesting and full of emotions. Besides capturing the natural beauty, these photographs also have artistic value,” Drljača noted.

The president of the “Novska Planina” Mountaineering Association, Zoran Mijatović, mentioned that the photographs were taken by association members during their mountaineering expeditions.

  • “It was challenging to select the most beautiful photos from the many we have. However, I believe we have chosen the best ones to showcase our activities,” Mijatović emphasized.

The exhibition, which will be on display until May 31, is accompanied by video projections of the mountaineering expeditions.

In collaboration with the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural, Historical, and Natural Heritage, a lecture on the protected natural assets of Republika Srpska will be held at the gallery in Novi Grad on May 29.
