The resolution on Srebrenica will paralyze relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), and I thank Hungary for understanding this issue, said the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik during a press conference with Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, in Budapest.
- Thank you, Hungary, for voting against – stated Dodik.
He emphasized that the resolution will destabilize relations in BiH.
- It is problematic that Germany is a sponsor of this resolution – said Dodik.
Dodik reminded that the BiH Presidency did not make any decision regarding Srebrenica.
- This was unilaterally done by Bosniak representatives. For something to appear in the United Nations, a decision must be made within the country. And that is not the case here – Dodik clarified.
Dodik noted that relations between Hungary and the Republika Srpska are very stable.
- I look forward to all our joint projects, and our relations are being realized in a practical sense – stated Dodik.
