A solo concert by soprano Karolina Mihajlović, accompanied by pianist Vlado Danić, will be held on May 14th in the Concert Hall of Banski Dvor, starting at 8 PM.
As announced by Banski Dvor, Mihajlović earned her degree in general music pedagogy from the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka, and after a year, she enrolled in the solo singing department.
“Over 25 years of active work and presence on the music scene, she has had over a thousand performances at various ceremonial academies at home and abroad. She has participated in many festivals, cultural events and has received a large number of accolades and diplomas,” the announcement stated.
It is added that she is very active in educational work, as a teacher and leader of various masterclasses, workshops, and projects for children.
“She has performed across Europe, Asia, America, and Australia. One of the more significant performances was at the Sydney Opera House in 2016 with the SPD ‘Jedinstvo’ as a soloist and a performance at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris in 2012. She was a participant at the International Conference ‘MOTO – Musical Opera Theatre Organization’ in 2023,” stated Banski Dvor.
They also mention that the pianist Vlado Danić completed his music studies in Banja Luka and is currently engaged at the “Vlado S. Milošević” Art School as a piano accompanist – répétiteur in the string, wind, and solo-singing departments.
“He has collaborated in concerts and in teaching with classes of professors Slobodan Gerić, Maja Jokanović, Nemanja Marjanović, Dejan Mladenović, Dunja Simić, Radmila Smiljanić, Ivan Otašević, Uroš Pešić, Branislav Petrović, and others,” the announcement concluded.
Free tickets can be picked up at the ticket office of Banski Dvor on weekdays from 12 to 6 PM.
