Darko Banjac, the President of the People’s Party of Srpska, stated that Eastern countries should not be seen as an alternative for Serbs, but as a clear commitment.

Banjac, who appeared today with the party’s General Secretary Diko Cvijetinović at the Serbia and China Media Forum, emphasized that Srpska must further open its economic environment to investors from China.

He noted that the resolution on Srebrenica reveals who the true friends of the Serbs are, helping to defend against the Western stampede, with Russia at the forefront, as well as other Eastern countries.

“The goal of that resolution is to humiliate the Serbs as a people and to abolish Republika Srpska as one of the two entities that formed BiH by signing the peace agreement in Dayton,” Banjac told the Russian N television.

The forum was organized as part of the preparations for the arrival of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Serbia, and was hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade and the Chamber of Chinese Companies in Serbia.
