Milivoje Ivanišević, Director of the Institute for the Study of Serb Suffering in the 20th Century, stated that Bosniaks and those who support the false myth of “genocide” against Bosniaks in Srebrenica have initiated a resolution out of fear that the Serb side, which possesses all the evidence, will first file a lawsuit for genocide in Srebrenica and the surrounding area, but against Serbs.
“Why are they in such a hurry, both them and the Germans? Because they have no arguments, and if mass graves are their arguments, then they should explain the presence of Serbs in those mass graves. We possess the names of Serbs whose remains were found in these mass graves. They should not be underestimated. They are pushing the resolution to gain the qualification of ‘genocide’ to mitigate our lawsuit and arguments. They possess nothing,” Ivanišević said.
He emphasized that the Serb side, in terms of a potential lawsuit, is incomparably stronger.
“We, unlike them, have all the crucial facts. They know that Serbs have all the evidence of genocide against the Serb people in Srebrenica. They are rightfully afraid, which is why they have reactivated the resolution,” assessed Ivanišević.
Ivanišević reminded that the promotion of his book “Chronicle of Our Cemetery,” which deals with the crime against Serbs in the Srebrenica area, took place back in 1994.
“I deliberately listed all those who remained in Srebrenica. Did I photograph the woman who was the last to be killed in that town? Did I find anyone alive there? No! We didn’t find any prisoners alive. Nor camp inmates, nor people who were captured in Serb villages and brought to Srebrenica. Just a dead town,” Ivanišević said.
He believes that Srebrenica at that time was planned to be the capital, as he stated, “of their caliphate.”
“Everything was ethnically cleansed, and we have proof from their Main Headquarters, their operational group, which informs the Second Corps that Srebrenica was to be 100% cleansed. This area was largely seen as a return of Islam. We found that among some ‘ayatollahs’ even from Iran,” Ivanišević said.
Ivanišević reminded that a 132-page memorandum about the murdered Serbs in Srebrenica, Bratunac, Milići, and Skelani, including the names of the victims and their killers, was submitted to the UN in June 1993, but it turned out that administrative staff of the Security Council – a Tunisian and a Moroccan – had hidden that document, while adding several zeros to documents about Muslim victims.
According to him, the greatest “credit” for preventing the truth about Serbs from reaching the world at that time was due to former US Secretary Madeleine Albright.
“They did everything to hide the truth about Serb victims. We are also largely to blame. Now they are doing everything to ensure this resolution is passed, counting on the Serb lawsuit and arguments to have lesser value once it has been decided that there was genocide there, and they themselves do not sue because they lack the facts,” Ivanišević told Srna.
The Bosniak part of the BiH mission at the UN, unilaterally and without a decision from the Presidency of BiH, sponsored by some Western countries, initiated the adoption of a new resolution on Srebrenica in the General Assembly of the UN. Nine years ago, Russia vetoed a British resolution on Srebrenica in the UN Security Council.
An independent international commission for investigating the suffering of all peoples in the Srebrenica region from 1992 to 1995 concluded that neither individual crimes of genocide nor genocide in general occurred in Srebrenica. The commission of 10 world experts concluded that Serbs never had such a plan either in Srebrenica or anywhere else.
