Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, stated today that Serbia will always stand with Republika Srpska and will continue to work together on the most important projects.

Vučević recalled that he met today with the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, and the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, announcing that a joint session of the governments of Srpska and Serbia will soon be held.

He mentioned that Serbia and Republika Srpska face challenging days and a politically demanding May, but they will politically fight to preserve Serbia and Srpska and peace and stability in the region.

“It is Serbia’s obligation to further strengthen economically and defensively, but also to care for Republika Srpska,” Vučević emphasized.

He stated that important decisions for Serbia and Srpska will be made at the upcoming Easter assembly, highlighting that Serbia wants the best relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its peoples.

Vučević, along with the Mayor of Novi Sad, Milan Đurić, Višković, and the Mayor of Banja Luka, Draško Stanivuković, visited the newly built “Kosovo and Metohija” school in the Ada neighborhood of Banja Luka, expressing that they perceive Banja Luka as their own city in Serbia.
