Branimir Kojić, the President of the Assembly of the Republican Organization of Families of Captured and Killed Fighters and Missing Civilians, stated that the primary objective of the Srebrenica resolution is the elimination of Republika Srpska.

In an interview with RTRS, Kojić expressed that the creators and proponents of this resolution aim to minimize the presence of Republika Srpska within Bosnia and Herzegovina because they are opposed to the Serb struggle for what he termed “the most beautiful piece of land in the world.”

“They want to label us as a genocidal people, a label that should be applied to Germany, but they are attempting to cleanse their own dark past,” emphasized Kojić.

Kojić mentioned that the resolution serves as a tool for exerting additional pressure on the leadership of Republika Srpska and Serbia.

He highlighted that the adoption of this resolution by the UN General Assembly would enable Bosniaks to sue Serbia and seek financial compensation. “If this resolution passes, victims will be declared as perpetrators of genocide. My father, who was killed, will be labeled a genocidist, and so will I as his descendant,” Kojić explained.

Kojić called on citizens to attend a significant public rally “Srpska te zove” (Republika Calls You) in Banja Luka on Thursday, where dissatisfaction with the initiative to adopt the Srebrenica resolution at the UN General Assembly will be expressed.

He suggested that such a rally should also be held in Srebrenica to send a message of solidarity to the Serb community in the area, assuring them that they are not alone and can count on support.
