The Banja Luka Brewery is committed to continually investing in the development of new technologies and improving working conditions, aiming to secure a strong position in the Bosnian market and expand into other markets. This company, as the sole brewery in the region, plays a crucial economic role with exports accounting for one-third of its total production. In an effort to expand further into the Slovenian market, the brewery welcomed new collaborators from Slovenia – representatives from “Arc Kranj” and “Tuš,” according to a statement from the company.

Banja Luka Brewery is a significant business entity within the Republika Srpska, generating total revenues of about 46 million BAM, employing approximately 260 workers, and fulfilling all its fiscal obligations. “We continuously strive to invest in production development, adopt new technologies, and enhance worker education. Our beer’s quality is recognized across the region, and its reputation extends from Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, to Germany, Austria, Slovenia, and Italy,” stated Ilija Šetka, director of the Banja Luka Brewery.

He added that last year the brewery sold 12 million liters of beer abroad, which represents over one-third of its total production. “We are extremely proud of these results,” said Šetka.

“We have high expectations from our collaboration with our new distributors from Slovenia, whom we hosted at our brewery in Banja Luka and introduced to the Nectar beer production process,” emphasized Šetka.

Products from Banja Luka Brewery, particularly the Nectar brand, have successfully penetrated numerous markets.

Following the expansion in the Slovenian market, the plan is to continue broadening distribution and increasing sales in other regional and wider markets, as stated in the brewery’s announcement.
