President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who is participating in the 9th Delphi Economic Forum in Greece, stated that he has expressed concerns to Angelina Eichhorst, the Director for the Western Balkans at the European External Action Service, regarding the American ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Michael Murphy, whom he accuses of controlling the Bosniak political structure.

“Murphy is just a speculator and a hypocrite. He will be leaving Bosnia and Herzegovina soon, and he is aware of it. We hope his successor will not resemble Murphy,” emphasized Dodik.

Dodik also mentioned to Eichhorst that the negotiating status of Bosnia and Herzegovina is compromised due to the actions of Christian Schmidt.

“If this issue is not resolved, we are heading into a period of escalation. The situation is further complicated by the Srebrenica resolution, which was sent to New York without the consent of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They want to turn Srebrenica into a myth. In a situation where the number of victims is roughly equal, only one side is allowed to mourn its losses,” said Dodik.

Dodik highlighted that this narrative was initiated by the Bosniaks, unilaterally, and the ambassador at the UN did this illegally, which is concerning.

“We cannot accept this narrative and believe that many things in Bosnia and Herzegovina will not remain the same,” stressed Dodik.

The President of Republika Srpska emphasized that if Schmidt’s impositions are not revoked, Republika Srpska will proceed with enacting its electoral law.

“We will also organize a series of events to declare that living in Bosnia and Herzegovina with Bosniaks makes absolutely no sense. There are tensions that waste both their time and ours,” Dodik explained.

Dodik also noted that the forum in Greece was attended by numerous global leaders, including presidents and prime ministers.

“Last night, I participated in a panel that discussed the perspectives of the Balkans related to European integration,” added Dodik.
