The value of honey exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina last year amounted to 240,900 BAM, which is a decrease of 20.3 percent compared to the previous year, according to data from the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the past year, Bosnia and Herzegovina exported 6.9 tons of honey, down from 12.5 tons in 2022, while imports totaled 468.8 tons.

The majority of honey exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina last year were destined for Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. The largest quantities of honey were imported from Croatia, Turkey, Serbia, and North Macedonia.

The total trade turnover of honey in 2023 amounted to about four million BAM, with an export coverage of imports at 0.06 percent.
