The visit of Milorad Dodik to France was of exceptional importance, and it was crucial that the stance of Republika Srpska was expressed in Paris, showing that Srpska is stable, peaceful, and a prosperous country open to all negotiations, said Bojana Kondić Panić, the BiH Ambassador to Paris during morning program RTRS.

Kondić Panić noted that Dodik’s visit was very successful, substantive, and varied, and effectively conveyed the message from Srpska about the intentions for further development and primarily, the preservation of stability and peace in both BiH and Republika Srpska.

“It is important that we present our side and how much we respect the Dayton Peace Agreement, and that France gets involved in respecting and valuing this agreement,” Kondić Panić stated.

She mentioned that the President of Srpska had informed the senators about the situation in BiH and that a clear message about the state of the Balkans was conveyed to French politicians.

“They are informed about the situation and are very interested in preserving stability and peace in the Western Balkans. They are keen on accelerating the Western Balkans’ accession process to the European Union. This is evidenced by the fact that senators will visit Banja Luka next week,” emphasized Kondić Panić.

Kondić Panić commented that French politicians could be seen as partners and are interested in this path.

“France is a country that rests on democracy and is accustomed to respecting democratic principles, primarily the respect for legally elected representatives,” said Kondić Panić.
