The entire preparation of the Srebrenica resolution at the United Nations already negatively affects the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is certainly not aimed at increasing the degree of trust among the peoples, but rather at their further division, emphasized Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska, in an interview for the Greek national television ERT.

“The Muslim side in BiH has initiated this process without the consent of other bodies in BiH, which is a destruction of all frameworks. The appearance of Germany, we see as a way for it to cleanse its genocidal history, which in regards to the events in Srebrenica, there is no consensus that there was a genocide, it is directed at the needs of the Americans, to cleanse their bombing campaigns,” Dodik stated.

He believes that this will only “shake” the relations in BiH further, and he does not see a way for it to continue functioning as such.

“I call on all our friends, including Greece, not to fall into the trap of a speculative process sponsored by Germany and Western countries. The Serbs did not commit genocide and do not accept such decisions,” emphasizes Dodik.

He mentions that it is impossible to live a life of reconciliation or coexistence while being constantly accused of various events, such as the one in Srebrenica.

“We in BiH are divided, it is a divided society. BiH has never shown the ability to live independently. It is our duty to ensure our autonomy regarding the independence of Republika Srpska, which we need to build. The event at the UN will only further unify our people on this issue,” Dodik concludes.

Dodik highlighted that BiH, in all its 30 years of existence, has been an experiment of the international community, and it has never been a desired country by the peoples living in that area.

“We Serbs are dissatisfied with the fact that by signing the agreement at the end of the war, they try to take away rights, acquired by that signature. I am not sure there is potential for conflict, all these matters should be resolved politically. The only solution is to do what is realistically possible – Serbs and Bosniaks cannot live together, and that is the only truth,” emphasizes Dodik.

Also, in an interview for the Greek national television ERT, the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that anyone who wants long-term stabilization in the Balkans will support the process of the peaceful dissolution of BiH.
