The St. Petersburg Opera is a guest in Banja Luka

On the Great Stage of the National Theater of the Republika Srpska, on April 14 (Sunday), starting at 7 p.m., a vocal-piano evening “Stars of the St. Petersburg Opera” will be held.

This is the ensemble’s second visit to Banja Luka. In 2017, “St. Petersburg Opera” participated in the gala concert of St. Petersburg opera and ballet stars as part of the Cultural Program of St. Petersburg.

Laureates of international competitions, artists of the “St. Petersburg Opera”: Maria Chernysheva (piano), Yevgenia Kravchenko (soprano), Sofia Nekrasova (soprano), Larisa Pominova (mezzo-soprano), Vladislav Mazankin (tenor) and Valery Kaula (bass) will perform in front of the audience.

The State Chamber Music Theater “St. Petersburg Opera” was founded in 1987 and is very famous in Russia and abroad. The artistic director and founder of the theater is People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Yuri Isakovich Aleksandrov, a world-renowned director who directed on the most prestigious stages: “Arena di Verona”, Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theater. In recent years, theater performances have been successfully performed in France, Greece, Serbia, Finland, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, UAE, China.
