Lawyer Ante Nobilo stated tonight that the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, defends the Dayton Agreement, is a man of agreement, and “becomes a problem” for others only when someone wants to jeopardize Republika Srpska.

Nobilo, who is a member of the defense team for the President of Republika Srpska, emphasized that Dodik is a defender of the constitution, while others want to dismantle the Dayton Agreement.

“The entire West wants a revision of the Dayton Agreement. They don’t even know that Dodik is the only defender of BiH,” Nobilo said on Happy TV.

He highlighted that the trial against the President of Republika Srpska for disregarding the decisions of Christian Schmidt is absurd, with a political background, and that behind Schmidt are forces wanting to centralize BiH.

Nobilo said those wanting to reorganize BiH see removing Dodik, the key obstacle, as their way to do it.

Lawyer Goran Bubić emphasized that the process against the President of Republika Srpska aims to remove a political dissident for taking away property from Republika Srpska.

He stated that the indictment alleges the President of Republika Srpska is responsible for acting according to the Constitution of Republika Srpska, which is paradoxical.

“This is about a conflict of right and wrong, and truth and lies. Schmidt is a false High Representative who made a false incrimination that the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH fell for,” Bubić said.

Lawyer Goran Petronijević said that Dodik is a symbol of resistance and the guardian of Republika Srpska, and as such, should be removed through a legal process.

He mentioned that the intention behind it all is to revise the Dayton Agreement, highlighting that the property issue delves into one of the most serious revisions of the agreement.

Petronijević emphasized that, 30 years after the war in BiH, a part of the international community does not favor peace or reconciliation in BiH, but has been quietly revising Dayton all along.

“Those we call the West today are meddling in Kosovo and Metohija and in BiH. They are masters of the space and want to impose their will,” Petronijević said.
