Dodik: Russia Has the Right to Defend Its Freedom, State, and People

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that the Russian Federation has every right to defend its freedom, state, and people, accusing the Anglo-Saxons of pushing the EU into a conflict with Russia in Ukraine, depriving Europeans of cheap Russian gas, and thereby undermining the EU’s economy.

Dodik described the relations with the Russian Federation as excellent and thanked Putin and his entire team for paying attention to Republika Srpska under the current circumstances.

He pointed out that these relations would be much better if the West did not try to stop this cooperation in every conceivable and inconceivable sophisticated way.

Dodik mentioned that Russia does nothing to harm anyone in Republika Srpska, and when it appeared that Russia was expanding its presence in Europe, including the Balkans, the demonization of Russia began.

“What does Europe have? There are corrupt political elites that are unable to figure out how to survive in such times. The only way to survive was to create a quality real symbiosis with Russia, with its potential, to the mutual satisfaction of both Russia and the EU,” said Dodik.

According to him, this was contrary to the interests of the USA because they never wanted to see this union, so they therefore pulled the EU to the other side.

“And now Putin says we are friends, he asked me about Republika Srpska in Sochi, he knows who Milorad Dodik is. Well, is that bad? No, that’s phenomenal, phenomenal for us, and we don’t want to lose it. BiH will not introduce sanctions against Russia,” Dodik emphasized.

He said that the refusal to impose sanctions on Russia has aligned Republika Srpska with Moscow.

“The entire West views this with hostility,” Dodik declared on “Russia 24” television.

He stated that the West wants to hide the fact that their sanctions have failed and had no effect.

“They didn’t bring down Russia. They didn’t bring down Vladimir Putin. They didn’t provoke demonstrations. It turned out just the opposite – the growth of the Russian economy, flexibility in reorienting to other markets. After all, Putin received the highest percentage of votes in the elections he participated in than ever before,” Dodik mentioned.

According to him, this is the result of their sanctions, and you cannot say that Russia has fallen.

“And since it’s not going there, then they need to find a way to show their immense power here – and America has it – and create violence in Republika Srpska against us, who do not think the same as they do,” highlighted Dodik.

Dodik expressed confidence that the ties between the Russian and Serb people and states are now much stronger and more enduring than this historical moment.

He added that he dislikes that people are dying because, on both sides, a significant number are representatives of the Slavic people.

“But the geopolitical situation and the explanation for what Russia did is on Russia’s side. It has every right to defend its freedom, its state, and people,” stressed Dodik.

Dodik said that the Anglo-Saxons, for their own needs, pushed the EU into a conflict with the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

“It cannot be explained how one of the weakest governments of Germany, which used cheap energy from Russia, built such expensive Nord Stream one and two, on which German competitiveness worldwide depended, agreed to become a vassal of the USA and to renounce benefits for American interests,” emphasized Dodik.

He noted that Germany is now buying American gas at a much higher price, and the epilogue is that the German economy is in recession.

“Just four or five years ago, no one would have believed that this would happen. But if you are in an alliance with the United States, keep in mind that you will have to pay that price,” pointed out Dodik.

Dodik expressed confidence that Russian President Vladimir Putin is fully aware of the situation in which both Russia and what remains of Ukraine find themselves.
