The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Sinisa Karan, and the Director of Police, Sinisa Kostresevic, announced at an emergency press conference in Banja Luka that security measures are being implemented with increased police presence on the ground.
“The security situation in Republika Srpska is satisfactory, but due to recent events in Moscow and the terrorist attack, we are taking security measures in schools, shopping centers. The police will be on the ground 24 hours a day,” it was stated at the press conference.
Police officers are also undergoing training, and instructions have been issued to everyone on how to behave.
