The Dean of the Faculty of Security Science at the University of Banja Luka, Predrag Ćeranić, stated on the RTRS Morning Program that the world, following the terrorist attack in Moscow, has entered a period where hybrid warfare methods are being used.
He emphasized that Russia would respond fiercely.
“Some media have already reported that the ‘Islamic State’ has claimed responsibility. However, Russia has issued a denial, and Russian services are conducting an investigation,” Ćeranić mentioned.
Ćeranić believes this attack is connected to Ukraine due to the advancement of the Russian military.
“This would not be the first attack linked to Ukraine. I recall the assassination of Daria Dugina and the attack on Zakhar Prilepin,” said Ćeranić.
He reminded that the “Islamic State” was defeated in Syria.
“They do not have the strength to organize such an attack in the heart of Moscow. The attack was well-prepared. If Ukraine is behind the attack, and I believe they are, it’s important to see who is assisting them. And we know who supports the Ukrainian side,” Ćeranić declared.
He pointed out that the terrorists did not demand any conditions but came to kill as many civilians as possible.
“From the footage, it’s evident that they were well-trained militarily,” Ćeranić noted.
