The President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, today visited the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”, after which he stated that the only true multiculturalism exists in this country. In Moscow, Stevandić also met with the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matviyenko. A joint stance was reached that future relations will be based on parliamentary cooperation and international connections, with the aim of promoting Republika Srpska as an equal entity.
With Matviyenko, Stevandić discussed the guarantors of the Dayton Peace Agreement, highlighting that Russia holds an important position among them, as it will not allow its alteration.
“We also concluded that the guarantors of the Dayton Agreement have their obligation to protect those who are persecuted and to indicate that this is done by violating the Dayton Agreement, through the actions of the so-called High Representative Mr. Schmidt, and the torture many politicians in Republika Srpska endure due to freely expressing their opinions,” emphasized Nenad Stevandić, President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.
