We are just a few days away from the formal confirmation that the institutions of the European Union have agreed that Bosnia and Herzegovina has met the conditions and started negotiations on joining this community.

“This is not some huge progress, the opening of certain possibilities – yes, the development of some other capacities,” said political scientist Vojislav Savić.

Two years after the coronavirus, two years of war in Ukraine where Europe is facing numerous problems because it has imposed sanctions on Russia, as the European economy suffers due to the entire situation. These capacities have been significantly reduced, and all this affects optimism, because again it cannot be as much as expected.

“The irony is that the most obstructions come towards politicians from Banja Luka, and it turns out that Banja Luka is an ideal and functional partner,” says Savić, guest-starring in Morning Program RTRS.

The biggest obstacle was SDA, but the Troika is not great either when we talk about political manipulations and provocations.

Overall, there is some progress, domestic politicians have managed to agree on some things, of course, not everyone is satisfied, it’s impossible to please everyone, but compromise must exist.

“We are forced to make compromises, there are things from which one cannot deviate,” added Savić.
