The Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, stated today that the activities related to the new resolution on Srebrenica represent another unilateral action by certain ethnic political groups, which essentially want to confront Serbs and Republika Srpska.
Regarding the information that the Bosniak part of the BiH mission to the UN is independently, without a decision from the BiH Presidency, working on a new resolution on Srebrenica, Cvijanović said that these are the people who often sell themselves as being civically oriented, loving everyone, living together with others, but in essence, everything they do in a political sense is a confrontation with the Serbs, with Republika Srpska, and very often with the Croats as well.
She highlighted that the activities of Ambassador at the Permanent Mission to the UN, Zlatko Lagumdžija, are conducted without the consent of the BiH Presidency, adding that the new resolution on Srebrenica would contribute to disorder, unrest, and further divisions.
“Lagumdžija did not consult on this or other important topics so that he could act accordingly,” Cvijanović stated.
She emphasized that anyone who does not respect institutions and their constitutional capacity does not respect the Constitution, and whoever does not respect the Constitution does not respect the country they live in, which means they are simply usurpers.
