“The trial against the President of Srpska exceeds a political process and is slowly beginning to resemble a satire,” said the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, after the hearing for the President of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the acting director of the Official Gazette, Miloš Lukić.

“Often the public asks why officials from Srpska attend the trial, everyone should understand that this concerns the most important institution of Srpska. What we are witnessing today is as if we are going back hundreds of years,” emphasized Višković.

He added that questions should be directed at the lawyers present today, who have a rich practice behind them, asking if they have ever encountered a similar case in their careers.

“This goes beyond a political process, this is slowly beginning to be satire. BiH, as it is, does not deserve and should not be granted EU status until the issue of foreign judges, as well as foreigners who believe they can be in charge here, is resolved,” stressed Višković.

He noted that such situations exist only in BiH.

“All of this will one day be behind us, I am sure that no matter how hard judge Sena Uzunović tries to earn the Golden Lily, she might receive it when she pronounces some ‘verdict’ against the President of Srpska, which seems to have already been written in a foreign embassy,” Višković remarked.

Višković reiterated that this is a rigged process and urged the BiH Prosecution to stop this “circus,” to return to the matters that need to be agreed upon, reminding that the institutions of Srpska will continue to protect the President of the Republic.
