“The defense has been arguing from the start that the judicial authority is interfering in the electoral process based on illegal acts of an unelected foreigner and in a way that attacks the institutions of Republika Srpska,” said Goran Bubić, the defender of the President of Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
“Yesterday we were convinced that this is a simulation of a trial and an attempt to prove something based on unnecessary evidence,” Bubić said at a press conference in East Sarajevo.
He pointed out that 33 days had passed from the events to the raising of the indictment, and 28 days from the order to initiate an investigation to the raising of the indictment, and that the witness confirmed that this is unprecedented in practice.
“Today we witnessed what we have been stating from the beginning, which is that the Prosecution has no arguments,” said Bubić.
