Germany has occupied BiH with its policies, but it cannot occupy us in Srpska. The position of Srpska has always been clear – we are in favor of the European path, but with our clear constitutional competencies, said the President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
“I see that the German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock is coming to BiH to spill her frustrations about secession again, talk about reforms and the rule of law, and then she sends and supports the false Christian Schmidt, showing that there is no ‘p’ of the rule of law here,” Dodik emphasized in a post on X.

He reiterated that there are no plans for secession.
“If there ever comes a decision about independence, it will be the result of the actions of the false High Representative Schmidt, who tries to undermine the Republika Srpska and whom Baerbock supports,” Dodik highlighted, reacting to Baerbock’s statement that “Germany decisively opposes all those who with their fantasies about the secession of BiH are putting obstacles on the path to the EU.”
He pointed out that Germany is shaken by the scandal related to plans to target the Crimean Bridge with their missiles.
“It is known that they started with the story of sending helmets and underwear and ended with missiles that would target Russia. No one believes in Baerbock or in the good intentions of Germany anymore,” Dodik emphasized.
He stated that whatever messages Baerbock sends to BiH, they are worn out and meaningless.
“She can continue to speak negatively about the RepublikaSrpska and Dodik, but that will not change the fact that her government is at a historical low of support in Germany, again all thanks to her bad policy,” Dodik mentioned.
He emphasized that it would be good for Germany to stop denying the rights of Serbs in BiH and to start a dialogue with, rather than “judging us without arguments, listening to their false, never accepted Schmidt.”
“She is in BiH today to falsely present herself as someone who helps, but in essence, wants to score points on the already made decision to give BiH candidate status without a start date. That means nothing without a date, and the partners in power at the level of BiH have agreed to qualify it as nothing. And it could be useful. For example, to take the false Schmidt home to enjoy his retirement days, instead of deceiving us,” Dodik concluded.
