The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, stated in Brčko that no tensions should be provoked in the district.
Commenting on the announced parade of Bosniaks in Brčko on March 1st, which is celebrated as “Independence Day of BiH” in a part of the FBiH, Višković said that such actions do not contribute to the development and progress of the District.
Former member of the “El Mujahideen” detachment, Sanin Musa, has called on Facebook for people to participate in a parade of cars with wartime flags on March 1st, celebrated as “Independence Day of BiH” in a part of the FBiH.
He announced that the parade is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM through the streets of Brčko, with people coming from many cities of the FBiH, because he believes that Brčko is “the most important point in BiH in the current geopolitical situation.”
The Brčko District Police have received a notification about the holding of a peaceful gathering – a car parade on the occasion of celebrating March 1st, organized by the Bosnian People’s Party – Sanin Musa, and have taken all measures to collect information significant for its safe conduct, Goran Pisić, the Chief of the Brčko District Police, told Srna earlier.
