The West will not be able to change the Serb people’s attitude towards Russians, stated Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska.

In an interview with TASS, Dodik mentioned that Western countries aim to impose their views on Serbs and “punish them with sanctions.”

“However, I am proud of Republika Srpska and Serbs in general, for the way they react to this, and I don’t think there’s any way the West can change the Serbs’ opinion about the Russian people, whether through coercion or any other means,” Dodik emphasized.

Dodik commented on his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, held on February 21 in Kazan, to TASS.

“It’s an honor for me to meet with President Putin and to show our friendship. He has always supported us because this friendship, good relations, and understanding between the two peoples, between the leaders,” Dodik explained.

The President of Srpska added that there’s pressure from the West trying to turn everything against Russia, but Srpska will not turn against Moscow.

SERBS WILL ALWAYS STAND WITH RUSSIANS

The Serb people will always stand with Russians, regardless of current events or the West’s stance, stated Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska.

“No matter what happens, Serbs will always stand with Russians. This is what drives them crazy, and that’s why they think Serbs need to be punished. Russia may make mistakes, do something that is not quite right, but Serbs will be on its side,” Dodik told TASS in an exclusive interview.

According to him, the two nations are united by the Orthodox Christian faith, adherence to the same political principles, love for the homeland, patriotism, and a desire for freedom.

“We’ve both learned that no nation can be free without a strong state. So many things unite us,” Dodik said.

The President of Srpska highlighted that despite living in conflict conditions throughout history, both nations managed to maintain key identity attributes such as language, national character, and script.

“When Serbs watch international sports events, of course, they cheer for Serbia, but Russia is the next favorite national team they root for. This simply cannot be changed, from my grandson, who is five years old, to the oldest person in our country,” Dodik concluded.

PUTIN PREVENTED THE COLLAPSE OF RUSSIA

Russian President Vladimir Putin prevented the collapse of Russia when he came to power more than two decades ago, said Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska.

“I fear that, had Putin not emerged to govern society, Russia would have disintegrated into five to six states that could easily be manipulated, leading to interethnic conflict,” Dodik told TASS.

The President of Srpska described Putin as “the right man, a true statesman and president, a man who loves his country and his people.”

Dodik recalled having several meetings with Putin and said the Russian leader never made any inappropriate demands of the Serb people.

“He is a person who dedicates himself to people, good people. As for enemies, one should always be hostile towards them,” Dodik added.

THE CONFLICT COULD LEAD TO THE ELIMINATION OF THE ENTIRE PALESTINIAN POPULATION

The ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip could lead to the elimination of the entire population of the Palestinian enclave, stated Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska.

“The events in Gaza entirely stand out compared to all previous conflicts. This crisis is a conflict at the end of which the entire population in that region could be wiped out,” Dodik said.

The President of Srpska mentioned that Western countries, despite the large number of casualties in the conflict, “will justify every crime where they can benefit and will do nothing to stop the operation.”

“While Hamas’s crimes cannot be overlooked, the US has clearly responded inappropriately. It’s necessary to end the suffering of ordinary people,” President Dodik emphasized.
